Hiiiii all, July now seems like forever ago! I feel like August was a long, happy, and productive month and there are a lot of things I loved using/having all month. Besides, I did one of my favourite things ever in August- rasta shopping at Hill Road – Wheeeee! Check out the loot and tell me what you think! 🙂
1.Trusty Black BagÂ
I had been looking for a medium black bag for the longest time and was so excited to finally find it on my Hill Road shopping spree. It was below 1k and was exactly the size I was looking for. I lapped it up immediately and made a mental note to shop on Bandra streets (way) more often. Oh, what a joy there is in not being brand conscious. 🙂
Did I mention it has tons of pockets and gold zipper detailing, storing way more than one would actually think!

2. Cooper’s Fudge (OMG)
If you have never tried Cooper’s Fudge from Lonavala or it’s not your favourite thing in the whole universe, then we can’t be friends. My angelic bestie brought back my favourite chocolate walnut fudge for me from Cooper’s and I can’t tell you how happy that made me. It really tastes like little chunks of heaven and you should know the pictures don’t do it any justice.

3. Floral + Off Shoulder (Trend Alert)
When you don’t exactly fall under the stick thin category, you tend to hesitate to try new trends out. (And by you, I mean me). But I’m glad I bought this off shoulder-floral-strappy number (on the same shopping spree) because I kinda love it. Also, I really think you don’t have to be a certain size to pull this trend off. So in case you were thinking of experimenting, you totally should!
4. Miss Claire Lip Cream Hoarder
I don’t know how I’ve never spoken about this product because I’ve been using these for a while now! In fact, it’s right up there on my list of favourite makeup products. In case you’ve never used this, I’m going to attempt explaining what it really is. So it’s kind of a semi liquid lipstick that once applied turns matte on your lips. And since liquid lipsticks are all the rage, these are a great alternative! Did I mention the best part? They are super affordable. If I’m not wrong they are available for Rs 200-250. What in the world do you get at the price now days?! I hear they are not available easily, but I can tell you for sure that you’ll find them at Beauty Hub in Bandra (Mumbai). I keep picking up colours now on then, and this time I bought Shade 31Â which is a nice bright pinkish-brownish-nudish shade. They come in plastic tubes and are very travel friendly. Have I sold it to you enough? (No, this is not sponsored – I wish, dude!)

5. Black Is Back
I’m one of those people whose cupboards look like one giant black hole! I love black. It’s such a fierce colour. Besides, for a lazy girl like me it is a dream come true – it kind of goes with everything! When I saw this blinged out black sweatshirt, I knew I had to have it. Besides, in case you didn’t notice – I kind of went berserk shopping that day. But I’ve already worn it quite a lot and I feel like people are going to start realizing that every other photograph of mine is in the same sweatshirt. I would have been bothered by that but I’m looking into my pocket and turns out, I have zero fucks to give…so…yeah! 😉

6. Rainy Flatforms
These are called Flatforms, right? Somebody who knows something about fashion – please tell me! Anyhoo, I found them at La Judi (my absolute favourite place for shoe shopping on a budget) and just had to have them. They are weather proof and were for like, Rs 400. I had to buy! They were begging me to take them home. Besides, they are so comfy – I’ve kind of lived in them all through the month.

7. Nailing it!
I’m a nail polish junkie – I literally have them lying around in every corner of the house. Like you would totally think you’ve walked into some part time nail salon! Anyway, I don’t know this brand but bought these shades from Beauty Hub in Bandra. I tried all three last month and have been loving them anyway. They were like Rs 100 or 150 a bottle and are total value for money – especially the glitter one! It’s a great dupe for Disco Gold by Colorbar which is like some Rs 400. PS: It looks awesome if you use the glitter one on top of any nude shade. It can totally pass off as a gel manicure!

8. Gossip Girl Marathon
You are about to judge me so hard! I recently started rewatching Gossip Girl on Netflix and guys, I-am-obsessed. Of course, I’ve seen it before but I’m just as interested this time around. Besides, that show is so full of drama and twists and turns – there’s a lot that I don’t even remember. So night after night, you’ll find me most interested in the lives of Blair and Serena (and gang) just reliving my young and immature days. Oh, who are we kidding? There’s many more of those left! 😛

Guys, I just realized after putting this post together that this one is quite the budget edition. Everything on this list is inexpensive, and that makes me super happy 🙂
Let me know if you’ve been loving the same things or have any new, exciting things I should be checking out soon!

Miss Claire is for the effin winnnnnnnn. I wore it through my wedding. Nuff said.
Yeah, it’s such a great find, innit? 🙂

And thank you for the compliment! I don’t know the name of the store where I bought it. Hill road, only!
I stumbled across your blog today and have been hooked to it since morning reading all your posts one by one. Love the way you write with a little bit of sugar & spice.
